CVR & Blagrave Trust Co-Creation Group

We’d like to bring together a diverse group of 10 young people (aged 16-25)  from across England to work with us and take a leadership role in a listening exercise to understand “Young people’s experience of the impact of Covid-19 on their employment and prospects.” We are working with a partner charity called Blagrave Trust, who have funded this research. If you are selected to be part of this group, you will also be paid £450 for your time.

Helpline Volunteers

The West Midlands Forced Marriage & Honour Based Abuse helpline is looking for volunteers from the Somali, Bengali and Gujrati community to work on the helpline.  You will be given training and ongoing support to support victims of Forced Marriage and Honour Based Abuse over the phone.  It’s essential that you’re fluent in Somali, Bengali or Gujrati and have a good understanding of the issues within these communities. GIRLDREAMER COVID-19 RESPONSE FUND

Our new COVID-19 response fund is for young women of colour-led organisations or community groups (founder(s) aged 18-35) that support vulnerable groups and have been impacted by COVID-19. Grants are unrestricted and up to £1,000 with a quick turnaround. The application form is simple and the deadline is near so please share and apply asap!
