Surfing Retreat

We’ve been waiting since the pandemic to bring this one back! On 18th July, we’re taking a small group of you for a 3 night surfing retreat down South, which will allow you to learn the basics of how to surf, connect with yourselves, others and nature itself, explore a new city and further develop your skills. Transport, snacks, activity costs and accommodation will be provided. Refundable deposit required. Full details can be found in the application form.

Headshots & Bios

Join us on Saturday 23rd July from 11am – 3pm to participate in our annual GirlDreamer photoshoot held at our office in Birmingham. You will also have the opportunity to have your individual professional headshot taken, as well as support with your bio for all your professional needs. Photos taken will feature in our internal and external branding and snacks and refreshments will be provided.

We’re back with a third round of our Dream Fund! If you’re a UK based woman of colour-led small organisation/community group tackling a social issue, you can now receive micro-grants from GirlDreamer of up to £500 to support your work or kickstart your idea. Please note, you must be between 18-35 to apply and you do not have to be a registered organisation to apply.

FREELANCE EVENT PROJECT MANAGER @ LONDON WILDLIFE TRUST

London Wildlife Trust produced its first-ever Green Jobs Fair in 2021 and is now seeking a freelance project management professional with events experience to deliver the annual Green Jobs Fair at Walthamstow Wetlands this October. As the project manager, you will plan, coordinate and deliver the event working closely with LWT’s in-house teams and partners. Ideally, candidates will have good contacts in the environmental sector. There is a maximum budget available of £5000 (including VAT) for a project management professional.
